Toronto band Paint have collaborated with filmmaker R. Stephenson Price on the experimental, black-and-white sci-fi short film 11:11, which premieres Friday (September 11) at the Royal (608 College).
Set in Toronto over four seasons in four years, 11:11 is about a man’s “journey into oblivion through the colliding of multiple layers of consciousness and reality,” according to the film’s official description.
The idea is based on four songs on Paint’s recent Truth And Lies EP. The screening starts at 7 pm, and admission is $5 or free if you bring a TIFF ticket stub. Cast and crew will be on hand for a post-screening Q&A. More info at stratasfear.com.
