Guests at Canada’s Wonderland are calling out the amusement park for charging insanely high prices for food, including almost $60 for an extra large pizza.
The conversation was reignited after a woman posted a video on TikTok this week after noticing a Pizza Pizza restaurant inside of the park was charging guests $55 for an extra large pizza.
“How did we get here?” she said. “I don’t know if this is inflation times five, but I was flabbergasted when I first saw this.”

The woman goes on to say that she originally thought that the pizza would cost no more than $30, despite Pizza Pizza restaurants charging around $19 for an extra large pizza at locations outside of the park.
“I stood there for like a minute then walked away… who’s spending $60 on cheese pizza from Pizza Pizza?,” she said. “Are people actually buying this?”
The video has since gone viral, with more than 100,000 views as of publication, and hundreds of users chiming in to call out the park.
“It’s crazy because the non-wonderland price for an extra large with two toppings at Pizza Pizza is $19.99,” a TikTok user said.
“Canada’s Wonderland food has always been like that, a footlong sub is like $25,” another user said.
“Pizza Pizza is the most inflated food item at the park, literally go anywhere else,” another user said.
In fact, some users say they do go elsewhere, even if it means taking a short trip outside of the park.
“Go across the street, there’s like three different pizza stores and other food shops,” a user said.
“And that’s why I always go outside and cross the street to eat,” another user said.
Some commenters suggested that guests purchase one of Canada’s Wonderland’s dining passes if they wish to eat well while on a budget.
The park currently offers four dining meal passes starting as low as $19.99 for the Single Meal Deal.
Guests can also choose from the All Day Dining Plan for $32.99, Premium All Day Dining Pass for $44.99, and All Season Dining Pass for $99.
The deals allow guests to enjoy entrees, sides, drinks and snacks at participating restaurants in the park as often as every 90 minutes.
Now Toronto reached out to Canada’s Wonderland for a comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.
