Torontonians are furious and disappointed after American internet comedian Druski’s recent show, and some are even asking for refunds.

The Georgia-based comedian known for his outlandish social media sketches and high-profile collaborations was at Scotiabank Arena on Sept. 26 for his Coulda Fest tour. Other supporting acts listed on the bill included, Caleb Pressley, BigXthaPlug, Soulja Boy, Young M.A. and Navv Greene.

Online, the tour generated loads of hype – from tickets starting as low as $52 for upper bowl seating to the buzz around possible surprise appearances by celebrities like Justin Bieber and Drake. Bieber appeared in a promotional trailer for the tour, and excitement was further fueled with Druski featured on three tracks from Bieber’s surprise album SWAG

On the day of, not only did the Canadian stars not make an appearance, but crowds were also told last-minute that Soulja Boy would not be showing up.

The show still went on with all the acts on the lineup taking the stage, including a few special appearances from big names from the city like Jae and Trey Richards, Roy Woods, and Smiley. One fan, who says she went in with no expectations, admitted she still expected a bit more from the comedian. In her recap uploaded to TikTok, she detailed a range of mishaps, including overly long music sets, technical difficulties, oddly timed twerking contests, and an abruptly short end to the show.

“Coulda Been Fest, coulda been better,” she said in the video. “That was not a comedy show, it was getting weird and I was uncomfortable.”

Another pair of attendees also shared a similar sentiment, complaining about the lengthy DJ sets and lack of celebrity appearances.

“You can’t even consider that to be a show,” one said. “You could have tried, Druski,” echoed the other.

At the end of the show, Druski said that he’ll be back to perform in the city someday, followed by a brief explanation that he “tried his best.”

Edit: people are upset because of the false advertising. As stated in the video, he had a lot of big artists but they weren’t able to get through the borders?? I don’t believe that but whatever i swear I was seeing fire, my first concert// comedy show… perhaps the best scam of 2025 lol. #druskiintoronto #druski #toronto
