One of the world’s biggest music groups is coming to Toronto with a four-day residency in 2027.
In a news release by Rogers and Live Nation Canada on Friday, the companies announced that the Backstreet Boys would be bringing their latest tour to Toronto, as the only North American city for 2027.
The Into the Millennium – Homecoming: Live in Canada tour will have the boys playing at the Rogers Centre on Feb. 12, 13, 19, and 20 next year. The downtown venue can hold up to 50,000 fans per show.
Fans can expect to hear some of the group’s greatest 90s hits, including “I Want It That Way” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”, as well as rarely performed songs like “It’s Gotta Be You” and “The Perfect Fan”.
As something Rogers called a “once-in-a-lifetime experience,” the concert run gives Toronto and Canadian fans the chance to see their biggest album, Millennium, brought to life 28 years later.
“Canada was one of the first places to embrace us, and the love and support we’ve received from our fans there has meant so much from the very beginning,” said Backstreet Boys singer Brian Littrell. “Coming back feels incredibly special. It is a chance for all of us to celebrate the memories we’ve made together and create some new ones.”
The band is already touring, with a current 10-show stadium residency in Düsseldorf, Germany, and an upcoming Las Vegas residency to warm the boys up ahead of Toronto’s dates.
To celebrate, the Backstreet Boys are also opening a fan pop-up at Toronto Pearson International Airport, inspired by the Millennium album’s airport cover. It’ll also be home to their official merch store, with exclusive collectibles, Millennium-era photo moments, and fan events throughout their residency.
Rogers customers get exclusive ticket presale access on October 5, with public sale beginning on October 9.
Those with Rogers also have a chance to win VIP meet-and-greets tickets through the Rogers Beyond the Seat program. Contest details are set to be announced at a later date.
