What to know

  • Diljit Dosanjh performed at Rogers Centre on Friday as part of his AURA Tour.
  • With the stadium roof open, Toronto resident and Instagram user @razflips captured aerial views of the concert from a nearby condo.
  • The videos quickly attracted attention online, with commenters joking they were watching the concert for “free.”
  • Dosanjh’s Toronto stop comes nearly a year after his record-breaking Dil-Luminati Tour show at Rogers Centre.
  • The Punjabi superstar continues to draw massive crowds as his global popularity grows.

Not everyone inside Rogers Centre paid for a ticket to see Diljit Dosanjh on Friday night.

As tens of thousands of fans packed into the stadium for the Toronto stop of his AURA Tour, one downtown resident had a bird’s-eye view of the show from home.

Instagram user @razflips, whose condo overlooks Rogers Centre, shared videos capturing parts of the concert through the venue’s open roof, giving followers a glimpse of the action from above.

“It’s lit!” @razflips told Now Toronto, explaining what it felt like experiencing the Punjabi star’s concert from the condo’s balcony.

The clips quickly drew attention online, with commenters joking that they were getting the full Diljit experience without spending a dime.

“Wow! Lucky you,” one instagram user commented.

“Bro is watching it for free,” wrote another.

Many others chimed in too and joked that the condo view may have been harder to get than an actual ticket.

The @razflips account holder, who is a real estate investor, also told Now Toronto that they had no knowledge of who Diljit Dosanjh was until they found out the concert starting to take place at the Rogers Center and looked it up.

“I didn’t know really,” @razflips said, but “I enjoyed it,” they added.

The Toronto resident confirmed to Now Toronto that they enjoyed the concert so much that they spent most of their evening vibing to Diljit Dosanjh at the Rogers Center from their condo balcony.

The posts come as Dosanjh returned to Rogers Centre nearly a year after making history with his record-breaking Dil-Luminati Tour stop in Toronto. The Punjabi superstar’s latest visit drew another massive crowd, underscoring his continued rise from Punjabi music icon to global entertainer.

For one Toronto resident, though, the show came with no ticket line, no stadium crowds and no commute home — just a clear view from the condo balcony.
