Flying Tiger Copenhagen has officially landed in Canada, and Toronto shoppers are already lining up to check out what the hype is about.
The Danish retailer opened its first Canadian location at CF Toronto Eaton Centre on June 26, marking the start of a GTA expansion. More stores are expected to open in Vaughan Mills, Scarborough Town Centre, Square One and CF Markville later this year.
Known across Europe for its colourful, design-forward products at affordable prices, the retailer sells everything from stationery and home decor to kitchen gadgets, toys, craft supplies, party goods and seasonal finds.
More than 80 per cent of its products are priced under $10, making it a stop for shoppers looking for budget-friendly and fun purchases.
Unlike a traditional retail store, Flying Tiger guides customers through a winding path that takes them past every aisle before reaching the checkout, a layout that shoppers have compared to IKEA, but on a smaller scale.
Flying Tiger also introduces around 300 new products every month, so customers can keep coming back to check out the new items.
