The “unprecedented environmental disaster,” as Barack Obama called the oil spill hitting U.S. wildlife refuges on the Gulf of Mexico coast, said flat out that BP is responsible and will have to pay. Just as unsurprising, Journalists for Free Expression have given Stephen Harper an “F” grade for his government’s information accessibility. Nearly half of access to information requests aren’t met within the 30-day-limit and nearly a quarter take over 60 days.
