Happening NOW: October 4, 2010

What’s happening October 4, 2010:

George Galloway, the British ex-MP who was denied entry into Canada even though CSIS said he was fine was in town over the weekend and said he’s planning on suing the Canadian government for invasion of privacy because someone in Jason Kenney’s office called around to UK papers tipping them off to that initial entry rejection.

There are lots of Hogtown jokes flying after a truck crashed overnight and pigs ran wild in T.O. It’s like a G20 flashback.

It’s like Hollywood is getting too lazy to make remakes. First came talk of Star Wars in 3D and now – the only thing worse than Titanic: Titanic in 3D.

This one’s been circulating on journalists’ Twitter pages. An ad for an Illinois Valley News Reporter: “The poor glutton for punishment that’s chosen will cover city and county government.” Sugar on top is the “LONG HOURS LOW PAY”.

Finally, the pink substance in the photo above is mechanically separated chicken. So, yeah, Chicken McNuggets.
