What’s happening on Remembrance Day, November 11, 2009.
If you’re riding the streetcar this morning around 11 am and it stops for a prolonged period of time, it might be on purpose (no, not for a coffee break). Today is Remembrance Day and vehicles will be pausing to honour vets. No Tweets from 11:00 am to 11:02 am either.

Greenpeace came knocking on my door Monday night. It’s a warm week, so the group is taking advantage to do some canvassing. But it’s not all about door-to-door fundraising: Greenpeace has also released a CD containing the org-launching 1970 concert at Amchitka. Featured are Joni Mitchell, James Taylor and Phil Ochs.
