Tired of spending money on rideshares? Then keep your eyes peeled for this free taxi cab, Toronto!

Taxi service Co-op Cabs is deploying five taxis on Toronto roads, offering free rides to anywhere in the city from now until Aug. 31.

The bright yellow and red cabs are marked with Jackpot City Casino branding on the sides and top of the vehicle, and also read “I’m a free taxi” in bold lettering.

There’s no catch – simply spot a cab, wave it down and get in for your free ride to any Toronto destination.

Riders can also scan for a chance to win $100 Amazon vouchers, Co-op Cabs said in a post on Instagram.

The campaign was introduced by Jackpot City and the taxi service was excited to get involved, CEO of Co-op Cabs Abdul Mohamoud told Now Toronto via email. He explained that the company’s mission is to get Torontonians where they need to go, and there isn’t a better way to do that than with free rides throughout the summer.

“Co-op Cabs has been at Toronto’s service for over 65 years and always loves finding new ways to give back to the city,” Mohamoud said.
