Mcdonald’s is bringing its adult happy meals to Canada following the success of its Cactus Plant Flea Market Box in the U.S. last year.
The iconic meal, that’s usually for children, features a nostalgic nod to the 80s and 90s with a contemporary take on the iconic McNugget Buddies toys that so many kids of the time held dear.
The new adult Happy Meal is called the Kerwin Frost Box, and mimics the design of the kids version, however it contains full-sized portions of fries and comes with a medium fountain drink and a choice of a Big Mac or 10 Chicken McNuggets and best of all, a McNugget Buddy collectible toy, with mix and match outfits, there are six different toys to collect in total.
The Kerwin Frost box and its toys were designed by Kerwin Frost, a Harlem-based artist and includes a Mcnugget Buddy toy of himself, along with five others Don Bernice – The Wise Stylist, Uptown Moe – The Neighbourhood Hero, Waffutu – The Curious Optimist, BRRRICK – The Cool Guy, and Darla – The Dreamer.
The adult happy meal will be available in Canada from December 11.
