Though the name and scattershot ‘60s counter-culture upholstery may have tricked you into thinking the Virgin Mobile Mod Club (nee, The Mod Club) has been around since the mid-1960s, bathed in the bloodshed of the Rocker vs. Mod wars that tore Toronto asunder, it’s actually only been around for just over a decade. The Toronto institution recently celebrated its tin anniversary, and we were there, to catch a whiff of all the partying, upside-down acrobatics, and speak with the owners. Wild, wild stuff.
