Your City

The NOW guide to cooling down in Toronto

It’s finally hot outside. You could sit at home with your fan or AC blasting, but that’s pretty boring. There are hundreds of fun ways to stay cool in the city, so we made a map of where to swim, fish, sail or splash.

Use it to find out what’s in your neighbourhood, or to spot a new destination for your next day trip. There’s everything from swanky hotel pools to kid-friendly splash pads and kayaking adventures. Whether you’re looking to party, relax or have some family fun, there’s something for you.

Filter the map by category: simply click the white icon in the top left corner of the map and uncheck any categories you don’t want to see (see below for a legend of what each colour means). Click on locations with names labelled on the map for more information about each spot.

Legend:

  • Blue pins – beaches
  • Salmon pins – indoor pools
  • Purple pins – outdoor pools
  • Green pins – indoor and outdoor pools with free swimming lessons
  • Yellow pins – splash pads
  • Orange pins – clubs/bars/hotels
  • Turquoise fish symbols – popular fishing spots
  • White pins – water parks
  • Turquoise canoeing symbols – water sports
