In addition to facing Canada, the Iceland and Tunisia teams will also be playing friendly matches against Haiti, which will also take place on Mar. 28 and Mar. 31 at the Toronto field. According to CANMNT, arranging these supplementary matches was essential to ensure friendlies could be played in the country.
The matches include:
- Canada v. Iceland on Mar. 28 at 1 p.m.
- Haiti v. Tunisia on Mar. 28 at 8 p.m.
- Haiti v. Iceland on Mar. 31 at 12:30 p.m.

MLS Canada Head Coach of the men’s national team Jesse Marsch says the matches are an important part of the World Cup preparation efforts, and it is a big opportunity for Canada to host them.
“We know how much energy Canadian fans bring, and we’re looking forward to big crowds at BMO Field pushing the team as we continue our Road to 2026,” Marsch said.
