
Now Toronto and The Brandon Gonez Show are hosting one of the final debates ahead of the Toronto mayoral by-election tonight.
The anticipated debate will be livestreamed on both the Now Toronto and The Brandon Gonez Show’s YouTube channels from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST.
Broadcast journalist Brandon Gonez will moderate the live debate with a focus on Toronto’s Future, Now!

Participating mayoral candidates include city councillors Brad Bradford and Josh Matlow, former Scarborough MPP Mitzie Hunter, former Toronto Sun columnist Anthony Furey and policy analyst Chloe Brown. Olivia Chow and Ana Bailão did not RSVP to their debate invites and Mark Saunders declined his.
The debate will provide one of the final opportunities for voters to learn more about the mayoral candidates and their platforms one week ahead of the by-election on Monday, June 26. This debate will provide an opportunity to hear from candidates in a non-traditional setting where viewers will get a closer look at what each candidate has to offer.
From affordability to public safety and transit, the debate will cover the most pressing issues affecting Torontonians. The debate will be held at Now Toronto headquarters, followed by post-debate scrums which will also be live-streamed.
