Extreme food, crazy rides, games and concerts. Roam the grounds for unusual activities like butter sculpting, stay through the evening for concerts Rick Springfield!! or look out for appearances by celebrity chefs, including Lynn Crawford and Michael Smith. Snacks always take the spotlight at the annual glut-fest. This year the Ex reaches out to adventurous foodies with wacky offerings like chocolate fried chicken, the Thanksgiving Waffle yes, turkey figures prominently and the Smores Bao. Christie Pit’s Film Festival

Today (August 23) is the final screening of the Christie Pit’s Film Festival. Rescheduled from its previous date due to a flash storm, Mean Girls will be playing at sunset, along with the short Lunchbox Loser.
