Upfront: A Moment in the Sun

Rating: NNNNN

Newspaper war is hell. Upfront was a little shocked when we were handed a free copy of the Sun on the street recently, especially since the tab already has the free transit daily FYI. Advertisers paid for these handouts in exchange for getting their ads on the front page. On this particular day, the bold headlines that normally hype stories about strippers biting cops’ asses or horny teachers dating students are replaced by a full-page Internet ad. Has the Sun completely lost its journalistic integrity? Say it ain’t so, says Honey, a 23-year-old Virgo who enjoys horseback riding and is studying to be a travel agent.
