The city is currently holding public discussions on the future of culture in the Toronto. So puh-leeze drag yourself out to the remaining meetings (Montgomery’s Inn, 4709 Dundas West, June 17 at 7 pm and Scarborough Civic Centre, 150 Borough Drive, June 21 at 7 pm). After the moose fiasco, we can’t afford any more painted critters masquerading as public art. If Mel keeps calling the cultural shots, we’re going to wake up one morning and Cleveland’s going to be hipper than Hogtown.
