Sergio Marchi, former federal trade minister and Canada’s current ambassador to the World Trade Organization, is the latest contender to be churned out of T.O.’s mayoral rumour mill. We don’t know what makes him more attractive, the fact that he attempted to force the Multilateral Agreement on Investment down our throats or that, like most other federal Liberal MPs from Toronto, he ignored us after election day.
