We knew the city was getting trashier, but this is ridiculous. Local sidewalk muralist Victor Fraser blew a gasket recently after his Buddhist-inspired piece at Yonge and Eglinton was literally trashed by a city works truck that backed up on it and spilled refuse all over it on an overnight garbage run. Kind of sums up the official position on local art these days. Why couldn’t they have backed over a few of those moose last summer?
