VELD 2025: Toronto’s biggest EDM festival drops stacked lineup, new stages, and wild theme days

The countdown is officially on to Toronto’s largest EDM festival, and this year’s lineup will have you raving about non-stop beats, surprise headliners, and a weekend packed with high-octane energy.

VELD music festival returns to Toronto’s Downsview Park from Aug.1-3 bringing EDM’s hottest and brightest artists together for three days of fun, dancing, and of course first bumping. 

The lineup has already dropped, and festival-goers will get the chance to catch nearly 50 different acts hit the stage.

Headlining this year’s festival is none other than Alesso, Deadmau5, Tiesto, Excision, Lane 8, Loud Luxury, John Summit, Rezz, Cosmic Gate, Crankdat, and Sullivan King.

The fun does not stop there, festival-goers can still catch several more top-notch acts including Alycvtt, Blanke, BUNT,  Chris Avantgarde, D.O.D, Dab The Sky (Dabin B2B Said the Sky), and Danny Avila.

There will also be a lot of local representation taking over the stage, so don’t forget to dance the night away with Addy, Alkemy, Cpark, and DirtyHappy.

This year, the festival will also feature two brand new stages for fans to get hyped over.

The Sirkus stage is one of the newest additions, and will offer 30 per cent more LED screens, and even an overhead shaded truss structure to keep festival-goers cool.

Meanwhile, the Bass Stage will offer 33 per cent more LED screens, 33 per cent more subwoofers, and an immersive bass experience through brand new laser shows.

Trouble finding an outfit? Well, the festival is even offering theme days this year to help guide your fits and keep you on brand.

Friday’s theme is Neon Dream, pulling inspiration from bright, bold, and “glowing in the night,” according to VELD. 

Saturday’s theme is metallic mood, where guests are encouraged to channel the underground music scene with “reflective and dark toned looks.”

The festival will wrap up on Sunday with Wild Side, where animal prints will help the crowd unleash their inner animals.
