High Park is one of Toronto’s most beautiful destinations during springtime, and this year, the city is inviting residents and visitors to experience it in full bloom.
The first-ever Spring Fest arrives at Colborne Lodge Museum on May 2 and 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a full free weekend celebration of cherry blossom season surrounded by music, art, and community programming under the light pink trees.
Set against the backdrop of flowering cherry blossoms, Spring Fest transforms the grounds of Colborne Lodge into a lively gathering space. Guests can look forward to the sounds of Syrian musicians Diar filling the air, and waltzing lessons on the lawn courtesy of Waltz Toronto, inviting people of all ages and experience levels to step into the rhythm of the season.
Poetry also takes centre stage, with haiku readings inspired by the fleeting beauty of the trees, and visitors are encouraged to contribute their own haiku to add to the growing community display. For those looking to get creative in a different way, hands-on activities include crafting a paper flower keepsake to take home as a memory of the day.
Alongside programming, guests can explore community and vendor tables featuring local makers and organizations.
Whether you’re stopping by for the performances, the gorgeous cherry blossoms, or simply a picnic under the trees, Spring Fest offers an easy way to enjoy one of Toronto’s most anticipated seasonal moments!
