Head to Scarborough for a day of fishing adventures! Whether it’s on or off-boat fishing, you can expect to catch fish like bass, trout, and salmon. This park is also perfect for picnics and has walking trails if you need to take a break from the reels.

This popular spot is a dreamland for all fishers. This beautiful river is known for having Chinook salmon, Common carp, and Brook trout! While fishing is allowed in different areas of the Don River, this spot is highly recommended by fishers in the Toronto area!

Grenadier Pond
Location: 1873 Bloor St. W.
Located in Toronto’s popular High Park, this spot is the only location you are allowed to fish at in the park. Known for their largemouth bass, brown bullhead, carp, and more, this space is one to not overlook! Just remember that the rest of the park is a protected natural area, so it is important to respect all regulations, such as not catching and releasing or using boats.

Location: 1 Leslie St.
This area near downtown Toronto is the perfect location to view Toronto’s urban wildlife, without straying too far away from the city! With more than 300 recorded animal species all over the park, you may just catch something unique. Largemouth bass, yellow perch, and lake trout are amongst the most common fish species spotted at this location.
