The holiday season has made its grand appearance — and so has Casa Loma’s Holiday Lights tour, the annual event that transforms the iconic castle and invites visitors from across the city and beyond to step into a literal winter wonderland. 

Running from Dec. 5, 2025 through Jan. 4, 2026, the self-guided outdoor and indoor experience, located at 1 Austin Terr., will feature illuminated pathways, Christmas-movie-inspired displays, immersive decor, and live performances galore. 

If you are thinking about experiencing the wonders of the Christmas season up close, then put on your comfiest winter gear, grab a cup of hot coco, and snag a picture with Ol’ Saint Nick in his castle workshop!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE HOLIDAY LIGHTS TOUR

At the Casa Loma Holiday Lights tour, the pathways are just as intricate as your holiday shopping list! Light installations featuring classic Christmas movie favourites, like The Grinch and A Christmas Carol are making their comeback this year, while candy cane laneways and a group of singing penguins keep up the festive cheer. 

And the best part? Guests can say hi to and snag a picture with the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who themselves as they make their stop in Whoville.

While wandering up the outdoor castle steps, guests can expect to experience Casa Loma in its brightest form, with a twinkling display made perfect for any photo op. Additionally, visitors can grab a hot chocolate, cozy up, and watch the live fire performance in the castle’s courtyard. 

Inside  the castle, guests can enjoy a wide variety of installations, including a gnome tree, toy soldiers, a gummy bear room, gingerbread projections, elves hard at work, and a sneak peek at Santa Claus on the keys. 

The holiday tour also extends through the castle’s underground pathway, offering visitors the opportunity to walk through a nostalgic and historical tunnel filled with even more festive displays.

With the holiday season upon us, and with its mix of historical charm, Casa Loma’s Holiday Lights tour is one of the city’s quintessential festive outings, and one that you will not want to miss out on!

From Dec. 5 to 17, admission to the Holiday Lights tour is $45 online and $50 onsite. From Dec. 18, 2025, to Jan. 4, 2026, the ticket prices will increase to $50 online and $55 onsite.
