Canada’s National Men’s Hockey Team is about to face rival USA in the World Championship quarterfinals this morning, and here’s where fans can catch the historic game. 

After its 3–2 win against Czechia on Tuesday, the national team is now about to face one of its biggest hockey rivalries. The games promises to be a can’t-miss for all hockey fans, as it’s the team’s opportunity to get a chance to win the championship this year. 

When and how to watch the game

The players hit the ice on Thursday at 10:20 a.m. EST at the BCF Arena in Switzerland. 

Canadians looking to catch the historic match can find it LIVE on TSN starting at 10 a.m. In order to access the stream, fans need to have a TSN or TSN+ subscription.

Subscriptions for TSN go from $30 per month to $250 per year, while fans can also access TSN+ stand-alone digital streaming service for $8 per month or $80 per year. 

For those who have cable TV service, the game will also stream directly on TSN4. 

Historic rivalry

Despite the historic Canada vs. U.S. rivalry when it comes to hockey, the competition is about to be tough as the U.S. works to defend its crown as world champions, after winning the competition in 2025 in a thrilling 1–0 victory against Switzerland. 

The two neighbouring hockey teams last faced each other at the Milan Olympics back in February, when the U.S. beat Canada to the gold medal by 2–1.
