Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest Concert Experience

Enjoy an immersive concert experience showcasing a beloved Disney movie series: Pirates of the Caribbean

Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest in Concert is taking over Meridian Hall, with conductor Martin MacDonald leading the TO Live Orchestra and performers from the Amadeus Choir as they perform the score of the fan-favourite film while the movie plays in the background.

Girls On Film Burlesque Show

Enjoy the Girls on Film Burlesque Show on Friday night at Super Wonder Gallery from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m.

Forever Young 80s Dance Party

Head to the Vatican Gift Shop on Saturday for a Forever Young 80s dance party. 

Hosted by Husein Madhavji, this weekend’s event is the party’s third anniversary, and guests are in for a good time with Forever Young resident DJ Mista Jiggz on deck, along with special guest DJ Riccachet.

While the party begins at 9:30 p.m., organizers are encouraging attendees to arrive early to avoid disappointment. 

Toronto Maple Leafs Tailgate (Round 1 Game 4)

Head to Maple Leaf Square, outside Gate 6 of Scotiabank Arena, for the official Toronto Maple Leafs Tailgate party on Saturday night. 

The event begins at 7 p.m. and is presented by Scotia Perks at Maple Leaf Square, featuring giveaways, activations, special guests, live programming, and more.

The party is free to attend, but requires fans to download free mobile passes ( aka QR Codes) to enter Maple Leaf Square. They are available exclusively through the Toronto Maple Leafs mobile app.

The Music and Drum Circle event is happening at Perfect Harmony Music Studio Ltd from 3-4:30 p.m.

Attendees can bring their own drum or borrow one at the venue and take part in a collaborative effort to create beautiful sounds and positive vibes. No experience is necessary!

April Flowers Drag Brunch

April showers bring May flowers, but there are plenty of flowers to enjoy this weekend at the April Flowers Drag Brunch.  

The show is going down from 12-3 p.m. at Hunter’s Landing. Brunch will be available for purchase during the event, which will feature performances from Toronto drag queens Noella Rose, Rosie the DQ, and Ari Darlin, as well as a spotlight on Angela Daily.

Tickets are $30 and include a complimentary glass of bubbles, but not brunch. Food will be available for purchase during the show. Seats are first-come, first-served, but attendees can call ahead to ensure they get a reservation and can sit with their friends.

Earth Day at Downsview Park

Head to Downsview Park to take part in their 2025 Earth Day celebrations at the park’s Play Zone. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can enjoy hands-on activities and educational opportunities, including tree planting, rickshaw rides, guided nature walks and more. Plus, food and market vendors will be on-site with various offerings. 

The event is free to attend, and guests are encouraged to register ahead of time here. Certain events will require registration. The celebration event will go ahead rain or shine!
