Easter weekend is here and Toronto has a jam-packed lineup of unique and diverse events that will keep you busy all throughout Friday to Monday. 

Here are 10 events to mark another season of Spring and the Easter holiday!

Friday, April 3

Easter Long Weekend at Arcadia Earth

Location: 486 Front St. W, Building C

Arcadia Earth is open all weekend with its immersive, eco-focused exhibits and a limited-time planetarium add-on making a return. The “Forests” chapter (which sold out during March Break) is back for the Easter weekend only, taking visitors through the role forests play in keeping the planet alive. There’ll also be free sustainable crafts running daily from 12 to 5 p.m., making it a family-friendly stop if you’re staying in the city! Exhibit tickets can be purchased on Arcadia Earth’s website.

Hop n’ Shop Spring Market

Location: Great Lakes Brewery, 30 Queen Elizabeth Blvd. 

Spring markets are back, and GLB is kicking things off with its Hop n’ Shop from 12 to 4 p.m. The afternoon market brings together a lineup of local vendors, from handmade goods to snacks and small-batch finds, plus food pop-ups like dumplings, sausages and craft beer cupcakes to keep you full. Honey Locust will be playing life from 1 to 4 p.m., so you can sip and browse at the same time. There’s also a free pysanky (Ukranian Easter egg decorating) workshop, along with face painting and an Easter Bunny appearance. Admission is free!

Good Friday Trivia Night

Location: GRETA Bar YYZ, 590 King St. W

If your Good Friday plans involve drinks and a little friendly competition, GRETA and Question Everything Trivia are hosting a pop-culture trivia night. Expect everything from movie quotes and music rounds to chaotic games, all hosted by comedian Ari Isaac. There are prizes up for grabs too, including free play cards at the renowned bar and Second City vouchers, so it’s not all just for fun! The night starts at 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. and donations can be made at Question Everything Trivia’s official Eventbrite page.

Easter Mrkt

Location: Mimico Square, 2445 Lake Shore Blvd. W

This free, outdoor market runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is all about shopping local. There will be baked goods, handmade finds, and artisan vendors, all set by Etobicoke’s waterfront. The Easter Bunny will also be popping by from 12 to 2 p.m., so bring your family and friends along. It’s an easy, community-style market where you and your loved one can wander, snack, and support small businesses. Free admission for all.

Bunny Yoga

Location: 539 A Mount Pleasant Rd. 

If your dream workout involves cute, fluffy animals, then this is the place for you. It’s a low-key yoga class where actual bunnies roam around while you stretch, making for a relaxing and soothing experience as the friendly bunnies explore your mat. It’s beginner-friendly and all about the vibes rather than perfecting each yoga pose. Spots tend to fill up quickly so book ahead on Yoga Kawa’s website and tickets start at $50, with various time slots for Saturday. The times are as follows: 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., and 4 to 5 p.m. 

Hassan Phills: Eidiot Mubarak

Location: Meridian Hall, 1 Front St. E

If you’re looking for a comedy show this weekend, Hassan Phills is bringing his Eidiot Mubarak show to his hometown. The 90-minute set mixes stand-up with a lineup of guest comedians, plus a few surprise cameos. It leans into cultural humour, nostalgia, and community, making it feel more personal. Tasty Tours: Easter Food and Sweets Tour

The Easter edition of this tour takes visitors through Kensington Market for a guided stroll with stops at local favourites. You’ll be able to try a mix of sweet and savoury bites, while learning a bit about the neighbourhood’s history and the small businesses that make the tight-knit market what it is today. If you’re more in a dessert mood, there’s also the Easter Chocolate Express, a cozy tasting inside a restored train car. Spots are limited so buy your tickets at Tasty Tours’ website.

Earth Month at Evergreen Brick Works

Location: Evergreen Brick Works, 550 Bayview Ave. 

Every Sunday for the month of April, the space is filled with free and low-cost events like hands-on workshops, eco markets, community walks, and art installations, all centred around sustainability. There’s a mix of things happening throughout the day, from egg-decorating with natural dyes and bunny mochi-making to seed planting demos and kids programming in the garden. Easter Brunch at Casa Loma

Location: Casa Loma, 1 Austin Terrace

Set inside the historic castle, the experience is a traditional brunch with the opportunity to explore the mansion and garden, either before or after your reservation.
