Pride, F1, and good weather is here, and there’s no shortage of activities to check out this weekend.

So, Now Toronto compiled a list of nine fun things to do this weekend.

FRIDAY

Hands-On Pizza Napoletana Class

  • Location: 49 Karl Fraser Rd

Living in the outskirts of the city doesn’t mean you can’t have fun. Eataly’s Don Mills location is hosting a hands-on pizza napoletana class. So, put on your chef hat and be ready to get your hands messy. Bake a Neapolitan-style pizza in a wood-fired oven and bring your taste buds to the city of Naples, where pizza was born. Plus get two complimentary glasses of wine and an appetizer. The experience runs from 6-7:30 p.m. and costs $110 per person plus taxes and fees on Eventbrite.

Tarot and Tea

  • Location: 255 Broadview Ave

Step into a realm of intuition and wonder at a tarot and tea night. Queen City Curio & Apothecary is beginning the three-hour-long event with a 15-minute guided introduction to a featured tarot card. From blue lotus tea to aztec hot chocolate, there’s a drink for you.. Make friends and purchase a tarot deck to deepen your spirituality. The event runs from 7-10 p.m. and costs $10 plus taxes and fees. 

Goth Horror Drag Show

  • Location: 1279 Queen St W.

If goth, horror and drag sounds like your beat, check out Seyoncé Knows’ ‘Spookakke: Pride, but SpoOoky!’ drag show. The drag queen and star of the second season of Call Me Mother is hosting this event for Pride, partnered with The Fierce and Fabulous expo. Some featured artists are headliner Dragula’s Hoso Terratoma, as well as more queens like The Deviously Delicious Biqtch Puddin’, Manny Dingo and many more.

The event runs from 7-10 p.m. and costs $50 plus fees on Eventbrite

SATURDAY

Fierce & Fabulous expo

  • Location: 255 Front St W., North Building, Hall A

Get ready for the Pride kick-off event of the summer with the You Do You Foundation’s Fierce & Fabulous expo. Celebrate drag, music, art and community, with your favourite icons from Rupaul’s Drag Race, The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, Dragula Titans, Canada’s Drag Race and Call Me Mother season two. Mayor Olivia Chow will also have a special appearance. Expect a vibrant exhibit with more than 150 2SLGBTQ+ small businesses, brands and creators and interactive fan experiences. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and costs $35 plus fees and taxes for a regular ticket, or $99 plus taxes and fees on Eventbrite for VIP access and all-stars & winners show.

Queer Pride & Prejudice: Diasporic Belongings Through Artmaking

  • Location: 111 Richmond St W. 

If you’ve already graduated (or are just a nerd for school), attend Sip & Learn’s Queer Pride & Prejudice course. OCAD University Professor Julius Manupul and expert in queer diasporic artmaking, visual culture and the politics of identity will be hosting this session. For many queer migrant people, hiding who they truly are is often necessary to survive, so this lecture will discuss recovering the parts that were once hidden through his art practice. Order drinks, meet other attendees, and ask questions at the Q&A session. The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and costs $40 plus fees on Eventbrite

Toronto Rooftop Party

  • Location: 8 Spadina Ave

The weather’s finally nice, meaning it’s rooftop season. Toronto nightlife is hosting a rooftop party at Aera. At about 40 floors up, the event offers panoramic views, lively DJ sets all night long from 10 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., premium cocktails and VIP table service available. Tickets cost $20 plus fees on Eventbrite

SUNDAY

Monaco F1 Grand Prix Watch Party

  • Location: 146 Front St W. 

Get to Europe without the flight. F1inTO is hosting a watch party series in real European time, meaning the event runs from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Expect big screens, full race audio and prize drops. The Monaco Grand Prix, Formula 1’s crown jewel is on the calendar with cars zooming on screen. Tickets cost $6 plus tax on Eventbrite.

Strength x Pilates

  • Location: 58 Berkeley St

If you’re a pilates fan, check The Sunday Series’ Strength and Pilates event. Celebrating one year of pilates, enter the wellness community to build strength and move with confidence through control, stability and intentional movement. Two instructors will lead the class, and expect a full-body hybrid workout, a high-energy group environment, a DJ-curated playlist, and complimentary beverages by Geez Louise. All you have to do is bring a yoga mat, water, comfortable workout attire and positive energy. The event runs from 12-2 p.m. and costs $30 plus fees.

Fashion Meets Football

  • Location: 120 Adelaide St W., Unit 100

Sports can be fashionable, too. The Toronto Fashion Network is hosting a soccer season fashion to celebrate culture, creativity, and couture in a luxe lounge setting. Models, photographers, stylists and creatives, it’s your time to shine. Expect lounge beats, fashion photoshoot corners, country-inspired looks and challenges, and networking. Represent your country through colour, culture or creativity.  The event runs from 5-11 p.m. and tickets cost $30 plus fees on Eventbrite
