
Toronto, we’re back at it again with another spectacular lineup of events fit to make your weekend lively. Whether you’re looking for an activity for Father’s Day or something to check out with friends, we’ve got you covered.
This weekend, there’s Taste of Little Italy, a roller skating party, a brunch fest and the annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show, among other events! Here’s what you can check out:
Friday, June 14:
Taste of Little Italy
Bring your family and friends to Taste of Little Italy where you can shop and support over 200 local businesses. There’s going to be Italian-Canadian musicians, delicious street eats and even special activities highlighting Italian culture. The popular street festival is free to attend and takes place along College Street from Bathurst Street to Shaw Street. The event starts at 7 p.m and ends at 11 p.m.

Drag Bingo
Have you ever played bingo, drag-style? Well, now’s your chance. In honour of Pride month, Toronto drag queens Carlotta Carlisle and Bella Bimbo are hosting an evening of drag bingo. The game will consist of four rounds of bingo, drag performances and fantastic prizes. Visitors can play drag bingo at Walker Court at the Art Gallery of Ontario from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for youth.

The Bentway Roller Skate Parties
Show off your roller skating skills at The Bentway’s Roller Skate Party on Friday night. There, you’ll be able to showcase your moves, connect with new friends and dance to a rotation of live DJ’s. And when you need a break, there’s food trucks and a bar available for treats. SUSO Skate Co. will be on site for skate and protective gear rentals. This party is free to attend and it’s happening from 5 to 10 p.m.

Saturday, June 15:
Brunch Fest
If you enjoy having breakfast any time of the day, then you must visit Brunch Fest at Hotel X. This delicious festival includes 30 of the city’s best brunch spots and 150 of its best dishes. This one-of-a-kind experience takes place all weekend long. Entrance fee tickets start at $20 and the event starts at 10 a.m. on both days.

MOCA After Hours
The Museum of Contemporary Art is inviting you to its After Hours party to celebrate Pride month. The night will include smooth sounds from DJ Rose Hips and two back-to-back performances by the “Black Widow of Burlesque,” Ravyn Wngz and burlesque performer Dainty Smith. Guests are encouraged to wear their most vibrant attire, enjoy cocktails and admire great art. The party is from 8 to 11 p.m and tickets are $20 each.

Toronto Flower Market
The Toronto Flower Market is back with a fresh new array of flowers and vendors. The free event encourages people to support local Ontario flower growers and vendors such as Laura Dawe, Lizz Aston, and Clay & Paper Theatre, among others. The flower market is located at CAMH at 1001 Queen St. W. from 10 to 3 p.m.

The 14th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show
For Father’s Day on Sunday, why not bring your dad to the 14th Annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show to see luxury vehicles on Bloor Street West from Avenue Rd. to Yonge St. from 12 to 5 p.m., guests can see over 130 classic cars such as Ferraris, Aston Martins, Lamborghinis and so many more. It’s free to attend and starts at noon.

The 36th Annual Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival
Head over to the Toronto Centre Island for the 36th Annual Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival (TIDBRF). Organized by the Toronto Chinese Business Association, the TIDBRF aims to promote the sport of dragon boating while celebrating Asian and Chinese-Canadian culture. Organizers say on average, over 5,000 athletes participate in the race and over 60,000 visitors come to the island to watch. This event is free and it runs from 10 to 5 p.m.

Father’s Day Beers and Cheers
Spend Father’s Day by drinking some old-fashioned cold ones with the pops at Illuminarium at the Distillery District. The immersive art installation has organized a beer tasting called Beers & Cheers where guests can try a flight of four different types of beers. This is a 19-plus only event that includes a free gift. It starts at 10 a.m and ends at 9 p.m.
