There are several events to check out this weekend such as The Bentway-Howl’oween, Comedy is Art Festival and Art Toronto, among others.
Friday, October 25:
A Glow in the Dark Paint Night
Here’s a paint night that’s definitely thinking outside the box. Artbox Studio & Gallery has organized a glow in the dark paint night where you can create your own unique, glowing masterpiece. Snacks and refreshments are included as well. The session is from 6 to 8 p.m and tickets are $44.95 each.

Comedy is Art Festival
Spend an evening laughing out of your chair at the Comedy is Art festival where over 50 artists will be sharing their best jokes at the Theatre Centre downtown. Single show tickets are $20 each and shows are happening everyday at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m until Oct. 26.

Art Toronto
Canada’s largest art fair, Art Toronto, is celebrating its 25th anniversary at the The Metro Toronto Convention Centre, North Building where over 100 galleries from North America and around the world will be showcased. It’s happening all weekend long from 12 p.m to 8 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and students.

Saturday, October 26:
Downtown Toronto Diwali Mela 2024
Start your Diwali festivities early at a free celebration hosted by the Gerrard India Bazaar, at the Gerrard St. E. and Ashdale Ave. intersection, from 6 to 10 p.m. There’s going to be a live DJ, lots of food, dancing and more.

National Menopause Show
For the first time ever, there will be a National Menopause Show in honour of Menopause Awareness Month. The show will include menopause experts and organizations advocating for evidence-based treatments for perimenopause and menopause. The event will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre – South Building from 9 a.m to 7 p.m. Tickets are $55 each.

The Bentway-Howl’oween 2024
Put your goodest pup in a costume and head over to the Bentway for its Howl’oween event. This annual tradition invites all Toronto dogs and their owners to participate in a fun afternoon with a costume contest, pooch prizes, music, warm drinks and much more lively activities. The free event is from noon to 4 p.m at 250 Fort York Blvd.

Sunday, October 27:
Riverside Halloween Fest
Bring your family and friends to the Riverside Halloween Fest for free on Sunday. There, you can find kids’ activities such as pumpkin decorating, plus lots of delicious food, a DJ and much more. It’s from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at Riverside Common Park and Joel Weeks Park.

Halloween Howl
High Park is hosting a family-friendly outdoor Halloween event where you can explore the park’s woodlands and learn about different animals from owls, spiders to bats. After the hike, attendees can warm up with a cup of cocoa at a campfire, make Halloween-themed art and roast marshmallows. There’s two sessions to choose from, 3:30 p.m to 5 p.m and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each and the event is at 375 Colborne Lodge Dr.

Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of the Grotesque
Get into the spooky spirit by watching an immersive adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s Tales of the Grotesque. The experience promises to bring the poet’s most depraved characters to life and death. Doors open at 7 p.m at the Campbell House Museum and performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $38 to $50.
