“To be or not to be! That is the question!”
If you’re a fan of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, come hither and experience the fast-paced reimagined version premiering at The Rose Brampton where the cast is set to put a modern twist on the classic tragedy this fall season.
This particular take of the 16th century play has been modified to fit our current times. In this production, Canadian-Pakistani star Ahad Raza Mir brings intensity and passion to the time-honoured tale about madness, revenge and mortality.

“This show is the Canadian Premiere of this production of Hamlet at The Rose Brampton and the first time a South-Asian Actor has portrayed Hamlet in a full length production,” Brampton On Stage said in a statement.
In addition to Mir, other cast members include Evan Buliung as Claudius, Brynn Godenir as Ophelia, and Anita Majumdar as Horatia.
