Toy Story in Concert

For the first time in Canada, the beloved Pixar classic Toy Story hits the Meridian Hall big screen like never before, accompanied live by the FILMharmonique Orchestra performing Randy Newman’s iconic score to picture.
Relive the magic of your playtime pals like Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang 30 years after their historic debut as the stars of the first-ever fully computer-animated feature. Sing along to favourites like “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” and indulge in a nostalgic, family-friendly night at the symphony.
Lights go down at 7:30 p.m. for Friday’s show, and 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Robin Hood: A Very Merry Family Musical

Intro to Sourdough with Sonya Gammal

Join chef and instructor Sonya Gammal for this hands-on Intro to Sourdough workshop and discover the secrets behind crafting beautiful, tangy, artisanal loaves from scratch. Using organic hard wheat and spelt flours, Sonya will guide you through the history and health benefits of sourdough, how to create and care for your own starter, and every step along the way of baking your bread to perfection.
You’ll bake two large loaves using the Dutch oven method to share fresh out of the oven, paired with warm butternut squash soup, cheese, and nuts, and go home with your own starter, dough to finish baking, and all the delicious recipes to keep your sourdough journey going.
Hosted at The Depanneur, located in the CCFE Solutions Salon on the 5th floor of the Centre for Social Innovation, this deliciously interactive workshop starts at 6:30 p.m.
