Whether you love or hate winter, there’s no argument that a hot chocolate sip makes any cold day better.

To help you beat the cold outside and enjoy a chocolatey treat, we’ve compiled a list of some of the best spots for hot chocolate in the city.

ChocoSol Traders

Location: 1131 St. Clair Ave. W. & St. Lawrence Market (93 Front St. E., Unit 22B)

If you are a chocolate lover, you cannot miss this spot. ChocoSol crafts their own ethically-sourced chocolate for some of the most remarkable and delicious flavours out there. With direct-trade relationships with farmers around the world, including southern Mexico, they get high quality raw cacao beans and use ancient techniques and volcanic stones to roast, winnow and grind them, turning them into the best chocolate bars that preserve the natural benefits of the fruit.

The complex and specialized process results in delicious, full-bodied chocolate, which the shop sells in bars, snacks, and, of course, one of the best cups of hot chocolate in town!
