Well-loved events VELD and Caribana took place over the weekend. From Toronto’s Caribana Carnival, a cultural celebration filled with music, dance and food to Toronto’s biggest electronic dance music festival, VELD, Toronto had no shortage of activities.
However, the events are coming to an end, with Caribana closing its 59th year celebration on Monday, and VELD ending on Sunday. The festivities are far from over, because there are many afterparties around the city to celebrate both events.
