A brand new live show is coming to Breakfast Television (BT) on Citytv this fall, hosted by two of Canada’s favourite talkshow hosts.
Former Cityline host Tracy Moore and former Entertainment Tonight Canada host Cheryl Hickey are joining the Breakfast Television family with their new lifestyle entertainment show “BT with Tracy and Cheryl,” premiering Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.

Moore revealed that Hickey would be joining her as co-host of the one-hour national show during an interview on Breakfast Television on Tuesday morning.
Excited by the big reveal, Hickey expressed her joy on the show, saying, “I can finally start looking at my phone, I can stop running away from people who ask me questions…”
Last September, Hickey and her co-host Sangita Patel announced that Entertainment Tonight Canada was coming to an end after 18 seasons, with their final episode airing on Oct. 6.

On Tuesday’s Breakfast Television show, Hickey expressed her excitement on teaming up with Moore, “For years, Tracy has been laying the groundwork, and I’m so excited to be joining her.”
Moore shared her excitement about creating a show “from scratch” with Hickey, noting that such an opportunity is rare in the industry since they were both “passed down” shows that had been running for decades.
“Cheryl and I have gone to events together, had lunch together and even done a cover magazine shoot together. What we’ve never done is create a show together from scratch. And that’s what we get to do now. Put her obsession with medical advances and low key silliness with my obsession with social justice and high key goofiness and you get —> BT with Tracy & Cheryl,” she wrote on an Instagram post announcing their upcoming show.
On the duo’s latest show, Hickey mentioned that viewers could expect to see some “known experts” and influencers they have loved over the years.
“We want this to be the place that you come to for comfort and joy… we want women to feel good about themselves right now,” Moore added while speaking to BT viewers.
