Karol G is coming to Toronto, and so is an all-girls dance party playing all of her greatest hits, and other Latin anthems.
Sorry Papi Tour, a girls-only reggaeton event brand, comes to Myst Toronto on July 10 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Attendees can enjoy Perreo, photo ops, pink drinks, complimentary makeup artists, merch goodie bags, an all-female DJ lineup, and most importantly: no men.
The event takes place just weeks before Colombian singer-songwriter Karol G takes over Rogers Stadium on July 29.

What should you expect?
The brand was born in 2022 and has hosted several tour segments. This time around, expect Tropicoqueta, inspired by Karol G’s album—meaning new songs, Latin artists’ hits, and girl anthems will play.
But there’s more to the event, including goodies and a themed menu.
“We always love to have unique photo stations set up for the girls… A lot of these girls dress up for the party, and they’ll kind of base their outfit on the actual event experience and the theme that we have for the night,” Julisa Gallegos, tour manager for Sorry Papi Tour, told Now Toronto.
She’s expecting to see lots of orange and hot pink florals to fit the Tropicoqueta theme.
If you love dancing, there’s also some dance-offs with the chance to win a special prize, and other giveaways, too.
Why have all-girls club nights?
Gallegos explained that girls-only club nights allow girls “to be free.”
“Over time, we’ve come into situations where not everybody likes to go out and club as a woman, just because of the dangers and stuff you hear happening to various women,” she said. “So, what we wanted to do was to create a safe space for women to come out and enjoy themselves and have a good time.”
