
Apple debuted its newest products on Tuesday, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will be available for pre-order by Sept. 15 and for purchase starting Sept. 22.
Both iPhones will be offered in black titanium, white titanium, blue titanium and natural titanium and come in either 6.1 inch or 6.7 inch displays, and have contoured edges. The products also happen to be the lightest Pro model ever released.

The phones have several new features and upgrades. Here are some noteworthy highlights:
- A customizable Action button, with additional options so users can choose between accessing the camera or flashlight; activating Voice Memos, and more.
- A camera upgrade which is equivalent to seven pro lenses, with a new 24M super-high-resolution default.
- Improved Night Mode, with sharper details, more vivid colours, and the ability to take portrait photos at night.
- The best video quality in a smartphone, according to Apple, with improvements in low light video and Action mode.
- Both products use the USB-C connector, which is the same cable used to charge iPhone, Mac, iPad, and the updated AirPods Pro (2nd generation).
- Roadside Assistance tool via satellite, which connects users if they have car trouble while off the grid or in remote locations.

Both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max feature iOS 17. Here are some of the capabilities of the latest software.
- The Phone app now has Contact Posters, which allows users to customize how they appear to their contacts.
- Live voicemail, which allows for real-time on-device transcription of a voicemail message.
- New stickers in the Messages app. Plus, a more powerful search feature, capability to transcribe audio messages, and Check In feature which allows users to alert friends and family that they’ve arrived safely somewhere.
- The NameDrop feature, which is a new way to use AirDrop by bringing two iPhones physically together to share contact information. The same gesture can be used to send AirDrop content.
