Some good news for movie lovers, Cineplex is now offering free refills on popcorn and drinks in theatres across Canada.
Cineplex recently announced that customers will be able to get free refills when they buy a large popcorn or large drink.
“A big part of enjoying a movie on the big screen are the snacks, so by offering our guests a free refill on their large popcorn and fountain drink, we ensure their favourite movie snack and drink doesn’t run out and more can even be enjoyed on the way home,” Executive Vice President of Cineplex Kevin Watts said in a press release.
To get the refill, all you need to do is upgrade to a large popcorn or fountain drink using the Cineplex mobile app or by ordering at the concession counter.

The offer is available for one refill on the same day and on the same visit, and not applicable for delivery orders.
Online, movie-goers are elated about the news.
“Some of the best news of 2024,” one X user said.
“About time this came back,” another user said.
“I never thought I would see days like this again,” another comment read.
Back in September, the movie theatre company said it would be investing millions of dollars in upgrades to its locations over the next three years in an effort to improve its overall customer experience.
