One of reggaeton’s biggest stars is taking over Rogers Stadium on Wednesday night, and fans heading to see Karol G will want to plan ahead.
Toronto is the second stop on the Latin music superstar’s Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour after kicking things off in Chicago last week. The highly anticipated concert will also feature a special opening performance from Becky G.
When do doors open?
Doors to Rogers Stadium are scheduled to open at approximately 7 p.m., while the Fan Plaza will open earlier.
Becky G will take the stage before Karol G, who is expected to perform a roughly two-hour set.
Getting to Rogers Stadium
Concertgoers are encouraged to take public transit, as on-site parking is limited.
GO Transit riders can take the Barrie Line to Downsview Park Station, followed by about a 10-minute walk to the venue.
TTC riders can take Line 1 to either Downsview Park Station or Sheppard West Station before walking approximately 10 minutes to Rogers Stadium.
Several TTC bus routes also serve the area, including the 84 Sheppard West, 96 Wilson and 108 Driftwood routes.
Free TTC shuttle buses will run continuously between Wilson Station and Rogers Stadium before and after the concert. Riders with accessibility needs will be given priority for shuttle service.
The TTC will also add extra subway service to help manage crowds on concert night.
Drivers should note that on-site parking is available by advance purchase only and is subject to availability.
Bag policy
Rogers Stadium has a strict bag policy. Guests may bring small clutch bags, belt bags, fanny packs or clear bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches (30 x 15 x 30 cm).
Bags larger than 6 x 9 inches (15 x 23 cm) must be clear and have a single compartment. Clutch-style bags measuring 6 x 9 inches or smaller do not need to be clear.
Backpacks are not permitted. Exceptions may be made for medically necessary bags and diaper bags following a security inspection.
Tickets
Standard tickets for the show are still available and begin at $129.00 for seats in the grandstands and go up to $461.70 for floor seats.
Cashless venue
Rogers Stadium is a cashless venue. Cash will not be accepted at concessions or merchandise stands.
Fans can pay using major credit cards, debit cards or mobile payment methods.
