The rivals face off Monday, July 6 at 3 p.m. ET from Dallas Stadium, with the winner moving on to face either the United States or Belgium in the quarter-finals.
For Toronto, the match is bigger than just another knockout game. Portugal’s fan base has already been out in full force throughout the tournament, and Spain supporters now have their own reason to pack patios, pubs, community spaces and public screens across the region.

Santa Marta Bar & Tapas — The Beaches
Spain fans have a dedicated spot too. Penya Blaugrana de Toronto has been promoting a Spain vs. Portugal official viewing party at Santa Marta Bar & Tapas, with the watch party starting at 3 p.m.
Santa Marta’s Beaches location is at 2066 Queen St. E., and the setting makes sense for fans who want tapas, drinks and a more Spain-focused crowd for the afternoon match.
Teddy Beer — Bloorcourt
Teddy Beer is hosting a Portugal vs. Spain World Cup watch party on Monday afternoon, according to its Eventbrite listing.
The Bloor Street West bar has already been part of Toronto’s World Cup watch-party circuit, and its west-end location makes it a convenient option for fans around Bloorcourt, Dovercourt and Little Portugal. Teddy Beer is located at 928 Bloor St. W.
Gibbons Irish Pub — Entertainment District
For fans who want a downtown watch-party atmosphere, Gibbons Irish Pub is hosting a Portugal vs. Spain event from 2 p.m. until late. The event is listed as 19+.
The pub is located at 26 Duncan St. in Toronto’s Entertainment District, making it an easy pick for downtown workers or fans looking to stay close to the core after the final whistle.
Fox on John — Downtown Toronto
Fox on John is also hosting a World Cup showdown for Portugal vs. Spain, with the match listed for July 6 at 3 p.m.

AXP House — Mississauga
In Mississauga, AXP House is hosting a Portugal v. Spain World Cup watch party from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Mississauga Celebration Square — Mississauga
For a free outdoor-style community option, Mississauga’s Watch the World Play screenings include Portugal vs. Spain at 3 p.m. on July 6. The city’s schedule also lists USA vs. Belgium at 8 p.m. later that day.
The city says the screenings are free, all ages and accessible, making Celebration Square one of the more family-friendly options for fans watching outside Toronto.
Garden Square — Brampton
Brampton is also showing knockout-stage matches at Garden Square, with the city listing a Round of 16 screening at 3 p.m. on Monday, July 6.
The city says select matches are being broadcast live on the big screen in downtown Brampton, with free attendance and a community atmosphere for residents and visitors.
Aaniin Community Centre — Markham
Markham fans can also catch World Cup action at Aaniin Community Centre. The City of Markham says matches taking place during regular operating hours will be shown inside the community centre’s atrium.
The centre is located at 5565 14th Ave., and since Portugal vs. Spain kicks off at 3 p.m., it falls within the city’s listed 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. regular operating hours.
Fionn MacCool’s Richmond Hill — Richmond Hill
For York Region fans, Fionn MacCool’s Richmond Hill is another option. Eventbrite listings show a Portugal vs. Spain World Cup knockouts watch party at the Richmond Hill location on Monday at 3 p.m.
The pub is located at 125 York Blvd., giving fans north of Toronto a bar-style option without having to head downtown.
