For people who don’t regularly consume alcohol, drinking pop every time we go out with friends can get boring. Thankfully, there are plenty of great places to grab a virgin cocktail in Toronto. 

Summertime in Toronto and grabbing a cold drink go hand-in-hand, so here are seven places in the city to check out next time you’re interested in having a mocktail. 

Amsterdam Brewhouse 

Address: 245 Queens Quay W.

Featuring a stunning waterfront view, beautiful patio, and plenty of seating, Amsterdam Brewhouse offers a few different options when it comes to zero-proof cocktails. 

Its menu includes classics like virgin margaritas and caesars, as well as some more unique options, like an elderflower spritz, a virgin first blush, or an alcohol free patio punch.

The Brewhouse also offers Faxe Premium, a zero-proof beer. 

Storm Crow Manor

Address: 580 Church St.

A crowd favourite in The Village, Storm Crow Manor has a few different mocktail options on the menu, and they all have fun themes. 

Calling all Mario Kart fans! The Rainbow Road mocktail features a mixture of lychee juice, lemonade and butterfly pea tea. 

The Emperor’s New Groove-themed mocktail, Llama Potion, is described as the poison for Kuzco sans alcohol. Straight from Yzma’s secret laboratory, the drink includes pina colada mix, pineapple juice, pomegranate juice, grenadine, Sprite and soda.

Head to Hogwarts with a Muggle Butterbeer in hand, made of Root Beer and ice cream, with vegan ice cream available. 

Meanwhile, Mister Nickel’s Mango Meanie is a refreshing blended drink including mango juice, pineapple juice, ginger ale, and dry ice.

Grizzly Bar

Address: 739 Queen St. W. 2nd Floor

Filled with Canadian charm, and formerly known as Offworld, Grizzly Bar has a few Canada-themed virgin cocktails that are sure to evoke some nostalgia. 

One such drink is The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald, a blend of lychee juice, Super Lemon, 7-Up, and cane syrup.

Meanwhile, the Virgin Schooner is an alcohol-free spritzer, made of blueberry-basil syrup, lime juice, soda, and mint.

The Canadian Snowbird is composed of Prickly pear syrup, mango juice, orange juice, lime juice, and 7-Up.

The Caribana mocktail is a tropical blend of kiwi-strawberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, falernum, orange-bergamot bitters, and lime salt.

Amal is a Lebanese restaurant in Toronto offering a menu of zero-proof cocktails with fresh flavours.

The Cucumber Cooler includes a blend of apple, lime, mint, cucumber, and Seedlip Garden non-alcoholic spirit Grove.

The Passion Spritz includes Seedlip Garden non-alcoholic spirit, Grove, as well as passion fruit, grapefruit soda and lime.

Tangerine Dream is a combination of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, soda, and Seedlip Garden non-alcoholic spirit Grove.

While Spice Route includes Seedlip Garden non-alcoholic spirit Spice, as well as lime, ginger beer, pomegranate and rose. 

The Oxley Public House

Address: 121 Yorkville Ave.

The Oxley is a pub with all the classic fixings, as well as a menu of zero-proof cocktails. 

They offer a “Phony Negroni,” a “Not So Gin Sour,” and a virgin Amaro Highball.

The Pom Spritz is a mocktail featuring pomegranate, lemon, vanilla, non-alcoholic prosecco and soda. 

Meanwhile, the Grove & ‘T is made of the Seedlip non-alcoholic spirit in Grove, Citrus Crossip non-alcoholic spirit, and tonic water. 

Cluny Bistro

Nestled in the Distillery District, Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie is a French-inspired spot with a few virgin cocktail options on its menu. 

This includes the Basilic Noir, a bubbly blend of blackberries, lavender syrup, basil, and soda.

The Fleur de Sureau is a combination of white cranberry, elderflower syrup, lemon, and soda.

While the Grenade Mousseuse features pomegranate, simple syrup, lemon, and aquafaba.

BarChef

Address: 472 Queen St. W.

Known for its extensive variety of in-house bitters, BarChef also has a selection of zero-proof cocktails.

Agave Heights is a blend of hibiscus, agave, non-alcoholic white flower bitters, fresh lemon, and Seedlip non-alcoholic spirits in Grove.

The Royal Blossom is a mocktail featuring black tea, orange blossom, thyme, Mediterranean tonic and Seedlip non-alcoholic spirit in Garden. 

And Forgotten Beauty is a combination of jasmine cordial, non-alcoholic cherry and vanilla bitters, soda, and a non-alcoholic smoked liquor.
