Concertgoers are in for a treat with plenty of concerts to catch in Toronto this week. From K-pop to throwback pop-punk, there’s a show for everyone.

Summer in Toronto continues with another jam-packed week of concerts at venues around the city, including BTS’ highly anticipated live return — the band’s first concert in Toronto in nearly 10 years.

Whether you’re looking to scream along to your favourite BTS bias or watch Ed Sheeran effortlessly put on a one-man show with just a guitar and loop pedal, there is a concert in Toronto this week for every music lover.

From K-pop to throwback pop punk, concert lovers will have plenty of opportunities to catch a show or two around the GTA in the coming days.

Eagles of Death Metal

Californian rock band Eagles of Death Metal will be returning to Toronto for the first time in over 10 years this Tuesday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, Death by Sexy. Similar to Broken Social Scene, Eagles of Death Metal is a collective founded by Jesse Hughes and Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. Musicians from all across the rock and blues genres have worked on their albums, including Dave Grohl, Jack Black and Brody Dalle. To date, the band has released four studio albums and over a dozen singles. Balcony tickets for Eagles of Death Metal’s show at Danforth Music Hall are still available for $60.50.

Jack Harlow

  • When: Aug. 18
  • Where:  HISTORY

What’s poppin’? Don’t mind me, just watching Jack Harlow perform Tuesday night at HISTORY. The rapper first blew up in fame in 2020 after his single “What’s Poppin” went viral on TikTok. In the six years since, Harlow has stayed on the top of the charts. Since 2020, he’s released three albums, has been featured on Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby” and Jungkook’s “3D,” and won Top New Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards. Still don’t have your ticket? Ed Sheeran

  • Where: Rogers Centre

Three years after last playing in Toronto, Ed Sheeran will be bringing his Loop Tour to Rogers Centre for three consecutive nights this week to support his eighth LP, Play. Sheeran is one of the world’s top selling artists, with 200 million records sold worldwide. Over the years, he’s been responsible for some of the most popular wedding songs, including “Thinking Out Loud,” “Perfect,” and “Tenerife Sea.” Sheeran has logged 14 number-one singles on the UK Singles Chart and two number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Excited to catch him put on a spectacular one-man show? Tickets for seats in several sections in the 100s and 200s are still available for $323.

Simple Plan

Where: RBC Amphitheatre

Canadian pop-punk legends Simple Plan will be blowing the roof off of Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre Thursday night accompanied by Bowling for Soup and 3OH3! The four-piece from Montreal have released several certified bangers in their career, including “Perfect,” “I’m Just a Kid,’ “Welcome to my Life,” and “Jet Lag.” Simple Plan was also behind What’s New, Scooby-Doo’s infectious theme song. Since 1999, the band has released six albums, won numerous industry awards, and have raised millions for charity. Tickets for their show at RBC Amphitheatre are almost sold out, but there are still a few left, starting at $425.14.

The world’s biggest boyband is finally coming back to Toronto after nearly a decade away. Jimmy Eat World and PUP

  • Where: RBC Amphitheatre

American pop-punk band Jimmy Eat World are teaming up with Toronto’s very own PUP to deliver a can’t miss concert at RBC Amphitheatre this Sunday. The band’s debut album Bleed American has become a cult classic, spawning chart-topping singles like “The Middle” and “Pain.” Since the 90s, Jimmy Eat World has released 10 albums, and has been ranked among the pop punk greats by Consequence.

Toronto natives PUP (short for Pathetic Use of Potential) will perform with Jimmy Eat World Sunday night at RBC Amphitheatre. In 2025, prior to releasing their fifth album, Who Will Look After the Dogs?, PUP put out an EP titled, This Place Sucks Ass. Fiercely loyal Torontonians, the band has referenced niche Toronto things and landmarks in their songs, such as in “DVP,” “Robot Writes A Love Song” and “Factories.”
