
With the city bracing for a weekend of colour, unity and celebration, the 2025 Pride Parade is set to shine a spotlight on the strength and spirit of Toronto’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.
The 2025 Pride Parade will take place on Sunday, June 29, serving as the grand finale to a month of festivities. More than 25,000 participants and over 250 community groups are set to march through downtown Toronto.
If you’re planning to join the crowd for the festivities, here’s what you need to know about the parade route, road closures, prime viewing spots, and accessibility accommodations.
FESTIVAL MAP

The 2025 Pride Parade kicks off at 2 p.m., beginning at Rosedale Valley Rd. and Park Rd. From there, the vibrant procession makes its way west along Bloor St., heads south down Yonge St., then turns onto Dundas St. W, before wrapping up at Bay St. The final stop will be at Nathan Phillips Square.
VIEWING AREAS
The good news? You can catch the parade from just about anywhere along the route. Most of the action happens along Yonge Street between Bloor and Dundas—so if you’re looking for the best energy and views, that stretch is your best bet.
Risers will also be available at the following locations: Yonge and Mary streets (northwest corner), Yonge and Breadalbane streets, Yonge and Elm streets (northwest corner), and Yonge and Edward streets.
ROAD CLOSURES
Here’s a breakdown of the key road closures and traffic changes to be aware of on parade day, especially if you plan on driving into the city for the big event.
At 8 a.m., road closures will come into effect on:
- Rosedale Valley Road, from Park Road to Bayview Avenue
At 11 a.m., road closures will come into effect on:
- Church Street from Yonge Street to Bloor Street East
- Park Road from Rosedale Valley Road to Bloor Street East
- Asquith Avenue from Yonge Street to Park Road
- Collier Street from Yonge Street to Church Street
At 12 p.m., road closures will come into effect on:
- Bloor Street West from Bay Street to Ted Rogers Way
- Yonge Street from Church Street to Queen Street East
- Dundas Street West from University Avenue to Victoria Street
- Bay Street from Queen Street to Dundas Street
TTC STATIONS, WHEEL-TRANS DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP POINTS
For transit riders commuting to the parade, they can exit at various stations to catch the event. Bloor-Yonge Station is closest to the starting points for the parade, and accessible to customers on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth.
Most festival areas are located along Line 1, near Wellesley, College, and Dundas Station. Customers who require elevator access should exit the train at Bloor-Yonge, Wellesley, or Dundas Stations.
For those using TTC Wheel-Trans, designated drop-off and pick-up points will be available at the following locations:
Charles St. (east of Church St.) – approx. 80 Charles St.
Gloucester St. (east of Church St.) – approx. 85 Gloucester St.
Maitland St. (east of Church St.) – just east of Alexander Place
Carlton St. (east of Church St.) – approx. 72 Carlton St.
