Torontonians can enjoy three days of Vietnamese culture, fashion and cuisine at Toronto’s Taste of Vietnam festival.

The free event is happening at Nathan Phillips Square from Aug. 10 to 12, and there you’ll find food, live music, fashion shows, games, parades and more.

Organizers say Taste of Vietnam has been successful ever since its inception in 2019. Last year, the event received a record-breaking number of 45,000 attendees and participants.

This year, the event’s theme is beauty and the significance of the lotus, a national symbol of Vietnam.

“This year’s event honors the elegance and selflessness of women, particularly mothers, through the graceful image of the lotus,” the festival’s website said.

“This event pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the lotus in Vietnam’s cultural heritage and celebrates the creativity and talent of Vietnamese artists,” it continued.

Taste of Vietnam kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 10 at 6 p.m.
