Torontonians know this shop for having some of the best cookies in the city and now, the beloved bakery is expanding its business with a second location.
Founded by Andrea Mears, Andrea’s Cookies is considered one of the most popular cookie shops in Toronto due to its unique flavours and ever-changing menu.
The local brand started back in 2020 when Mears was unexpectedly laid off from her corporate job. With more free time on her hands, she decided to turn to baking and since then, she has never looked back.
Andrea’s began as a takeout window at 1632 Bloor St. W and now, the small business has expanded, opening a second location in the Ossington neighbourhood.
At this local shop, you’ll find one-of-a-kind flavours such as this week’s pumpkin spice and chocolate knafeh, inspired by the viral Dubai chocolate pistachio bar.
Other famous flavours the baker has created include chocolate sundae, birthday cake, almond cookie, and cinnamon roll, among others.
Following the announcement of the second location, many fans could not hold their excitement.

“…After work I will put my pedal to the metal and get down there,” another user said.

The second location of Andrea’s Cookies opens at 166 Ossington Ave at 11 a.m on Friday.
