Drake’s “I’m Upset” was taken literally Thursday morning, after fans were met with outrageous ticket prices for his upcoming North American tour, “It’s All a Blur.”
The tour includes two Toronto dates at Scotiabank Arena happening on Oct. 5 and 7.
The highly anticipated tour had fans scrambling for tickets during Ticketmaster presales and general ticket prices. Fans saw tickets ranging from $719 to over $1,000 Thursday morning when the queue opened at 10, until the afternoon when general admission opened at noon.
The lowest price some fans saw is between $300 to $400 for nosebleed seats.
Fans flocked to social media to express their frustration and anger over the process.
Some social media users claim they received the message “Sorry! Another fan beat you to these tickets, so they’re no longer available,” multiple times when trying.
This Twitter user says these ticket prices are not reflecting Drake’s love for Toronto.
While others were lucky to secure tickets or made the choice to splurge, the majority of fans are now contemplating whether this tour is worth it, especially since it’s been four years since Drake’s last tour.
Drake’s “‘It’s All A Blur” tour begins June 29 in Memphis and will end in Toronto on Oct 7.
