Red Lobster’s famous endless shrimp special is back, and diners have plenty to say—some are celebrating, while others aren’t so pleased.

Seafood restaurant Red Lobster’s fan-favourite promotion for the last 20 years is making its return for a limited time.

The Endless Shrimp promo is available to dine-in customers at participating locations for $34.99.

Alongside the iconic long-time favourites, brand-new Marry Me Shrimp has arrived too—featuring tender shrimp in a tomato cream sauce, topped with a garlic and herb crumble.

Typical flavours making their return include the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo, Walt’s Favourite Shrimp, Garlic Shrimp and Island Coconut Shrimp.

Red Lobster CEO Damola Adamolekun expressed his excitement in a TikTok video — and many diners reciprocated.

“He came in when they were losing lots, saved & recovered the company. And now that Red Lobster is doing well again, he is giving back to the customers. Mad respect to this CEO,” one TikTok user said.

“The second I found out last night, we immediately left and went – sooooo good,” another user wrote. Echoing the sentiment, one user commented: “Endless shrimp is back, you say??”

But not all comments were positive.

“I don’t care about endless shrimp!! Make the salad a part of the entree again!!” one user complained.

Another user commented on the speed of the food service, saying, “They bring out like seven shrimp every 15 minutes.”

Red Lobster’s CEO, Damola Adamolekun, explained in a press release that the promotion’s return comes after fans “never stopped asking for it.”

“We’re excited to bring it back, for a limited time, in a way that works for our business today and honours what made it special from the beginning. Because when our fans talk, we listen,” he added.
