We’ve finally reached the weekend again, Toronto and we’ve got some scary yet fun activities fit for Friday the 13th and the overall fall season. This week, there’s ghost walks, haunted houses, and a scavenger hunt, and that’s not all. Here’s what you can check out:
Friday, Oct. 13:
Daniel Caesar Presents Superpowers World Tour – Leg 2: U.S. & Canada
Toronto singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar is performing at Scotiabank Arena on Friday for his Superpowers World Tour. The R&B artist is known for his soulful ballads and incredible vocals. His popular songs include “Get You,” “Best Part” and “We Find Love,” among others. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets are still available.

A Night with The Demonic Divas of Comedy
Spend the night with Toronto’s Demonic Divas of Comedy as they share hilarious and spine-chilling stories from 8 to 10 p.m at Sweet Action Theatre. The show includes musical numbers, comedy acts and some close encounters with social media shysters. The show plans to amaze you and frighten you at the same time. Tickets range from $20 to $45.

Ghost Walks at ExPlace
Go on a spooky ghost tour in honour of Friday the 13th. Led by Steve Collie of After Dark Tours, the two-hour ghost tours at Exhibition Place will teach you all about the venue’s haunting past and eerie paranormal events. A note to parents: this tour is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. Tickets are $15 each.

Saturday, Oct. 14:
Autumn Symphony Concert
The Autumn Symphony Concert will display a night of classics from China, followed by the renowned works from Tchaikovsky. It features esteemed conductor Linhan Cui, Conducting Fellow of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and prize winner from the Malko Young Conductors Competition in 2021. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at Meridian Arts Centre: George Weston.

Hunger Relief Walk
Participate in a Hunger-Relief Walk to help raise funds for the programs at Sai Dham Food Bank and touch the lives of vulnerable individuals. The walk helps ensure that elders and specially-abled community members have access to nourishing meals. The walk starts at 8 a.m. at 256 Centennial Park Rd.

2023 Festival of Dance Fall Showcase
The Hart House Theatre has organized a curated dance performance showcase featuring dancers from the Spring 2023 Festival at 7:30 p.m. The show will include a variety of dance styles from K Pop and Bollywood to Bellydance and Ballet.

Sunday, Oct. 15:
Toronto’s Haunted Harbour
Explore the supernatural side of Toronto’s Haunted Harbour with this 90-minute immersive storytelling boat cruise and walking experience. The tour will take you through the lagoons of the Toronto Islands, Centre Island and the Gibraltar Point Lighthouse, considered the oldest and most haunted buildings of them all. This experience is outdoors and departs from 1 Queen’s Quay East at the TDOT Water Taxi Dock.

Legends of Horror
Casa Loma is back with its famous Legends of Horror where the audience is invited to a scary and entertaining experience filled with ghouls, goblins, zombies and all creatures alike. Roam the castle’s darkest tunnels and spaces if you dare. Throughout the over one hour experience, the audience will go through never before seen areas of the castle and meet interesting characters. Tickets are $56.33 per person.

The Adventures of Indie Santiago: A ROM Mystery Scavenger Hunt
There is a new ROM Mystery Scavenger Hunt happening at the museum and it’s called The Adventures of Indie Santiago. The mystery follows a famous adventurer who goes missing during an archaeological dig in the Accona desert. Visitors will scour ancient civilizations, unravel a tale and discover secrets to the missing artifact the adventurer holds. Tickets are $45 each and the session runs from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
