Fleurs de Villes FLORA

The showcase Fleurs de Villes returns to the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood with FLORA, a fashion-forward display of more than 30 installations, including its signature mannequins dressed in fresh flowers. Opening up daily at 10 a.m., ring in the spring with a blooming self-guided daytime outdoor stroll through one of the city’s most polished neighbourhoods. Starting at the Park Hyatt Toronto, there are plenty of sites to see at local landmarks like the Holt Renfrew Centre, The Colonnade, and Manulife Centre before ending at The Anndore House.
Electric Island – Season Opener

Electric Island kicks off its season opener in the 6ix with a full weekend of open-air electronic music and waterfront views.
Held at Woodbine Park each month throughout the summer, this recurring festival is a go-to for anyone looking to dive into a summer filled with high energy and solid DJ lineups – including Adriatique and The Martinez Brothers. And May marks just the beginning as the rest of the summer keeps the beat going, with more Electric Island set for June 27-28, August 7-8, and September 5-6.
Tickets are available now for both Saturday and Sunday.
Wine Fest Toronto: Spring 2026

Cheers to a full weekend of indulging in the finest wines from all over the world!
This multi-day festival invites guests to explore wines and beverages from local wineries and from all across the globe at their own pace. Visitors can expect food trucks, music, educational sessions, and a new token system that lets you plan your experience in advance.
Also making its debut at the festival is ‘The French Experience,’ offering guests a rare opportunity to experience the diversity of France’s winemaking traditions. The French Pavilion is set to transform, bringing together techniques from regions like Alsace, Bordeaux, Champagne and Vin de France together under one roof.
Toronto Tea & Gourmet Festival

The biggest tea party in the city goes down this May! The Toronto Tea & Gourmet Festival brings together premium teas, artisanal food vendors, and family-friendly live entertainment.
From bubble tea to international blends, this is a jam-packed weekend of sampling, shopping, and cultural programming all available within Sankofa Square from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
An Introduction to Indigenous Cultural Practices Workshop Series
- Date: May 9, 16, and 30
- Location: Riverdale Hub, 1326 Gerrard St E.
- Admission: Free
This hands-on afternoon workshop series invites participants to learn directly from Indigenous artists through guided art-making and storytelling. Sessions explore themes of land, resilience, and community, with no prior experience required.
Throughout May, Ojibway artist Marcel Charlebois will explore the origins of dreamcatches with guests that will reflect on hopes and aspirations. Meanwhile, Nishinaabe creative Mel Bartel will lead participants for a session on designing beaded hoop earrings.
Plant Fair 2026: Parkdale & Toronto Horticultural Society

Calling all the plant parents, this one’s for you!
This community-focused plant fair features native plants, organic herbs, and hard-to-find varieties, along with gardening advice and a small flea market. All plants are carefully prepared to avoid invasive species, making it a thoughtful stop for plant lovers.
Doors Open Toronto

Doors Open Toronto returns this May, giving Torontonians behind-the-scenes access to public buildings and spaces that are usually closed off.
For one weekend, visitors can explore artist studios, galleries, and historic sites, or join guided tours across the city. One stop along the way could be City Hall, where you can fuel your visit with snacks from the licensed café, and enjoy the inner courtyard and green rooftop. Other locations include the TD Tower, the Don Jail, the Spadina Museum, and more than 160 buildings and sites across the city.
Khalid: It’s Always Summer Somewhere Tour

R&B-pop star Khalid is bringing his latest tour to Toronto’s RBC Amphitheatre (formerly Budweiser Stage) this May, offering an open-air night of hits and fan favourites.
Following the release of his fourth studio album after the sun goes down in 2025, Khalid is sure to bring bangers from that project as well as throwbacks like “Young, Dumb & Broke” and “Location” to the waterfront stage.
AfriRunway Experience Pop-Up Market

The AfriRunway Experience Pop-Up Market highlights African-inspired fashion and design, giving local creators a platform to showcase their work. This is a chance to shop unique pieces while connecting with a creative, culturally rich and diverse diaspora.
International Axe Throwing Championships
- Date: May 27 to 31
- Location: BATL Grounds, 30 Weston Rd.
- Admission: Free Wednesday through Saturday, $68.36 on Sunday
The International Axe Throwing Championship brings top competitors from around the world to the city, and is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Spectators can drop in for free throughout the week, with a ticketed finale bringing the Axe Market, outdoor viewing tents, food trucks, a photobooth, full bar, live bands, and more!
