Residents were warned of loud noises, flashes of light and brief smoke in the area during pre-approved activities the week of April 13.
Though no one knew what these activities were.
One Reddit user wrote, “Thought it was thunder.” Another added, “I’m at Keele and Wilson, and I was preoccupied with playing Leaf Green on my Switch. I heard a loud bang outside, and I just thought that it was a massive raccoon that knocked over one of our garbage bins.”
But another user guessed it, saying, “It’s Drake.”
Drake himself confirmed the speculation through two Instagram stories, showing the explosions.
This is just one of his latest stunts building anticipation for his upcoming album Iceman which has yet to have a confirmed release date.
